- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (I used 1/3 whole wheat pastry, and 2/3 regular flour)
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg (I leave this out because my husband doesn’t like nutmeg)
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
