It was amazing and soft! Plus so fluffy! I substituted puréed zucchini instead of the pumpkin and it tasted just like pumpkin!

it is yummy. I used 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice and 1 tsp cinnamon. I substituted whole wheat pastry flour for 1/2 of tge flour. The results were awesome!

This cake (and frosting) turned out so delicious! And it was so easy to make. I’ll definitely make this again.

This came out amazing and will totally be making it again! It was such a hit and super easy to make. Reminds me of carrot cake too!

It was very delicious. I kept to 2 cups of powder sugar for the frosting, My family doesn’t like it too sweet and it was perfect. Definitely will make it again, maybe as cupcakes to take to a picnic or party.

Not sure yet. The cake was nowhere near baked at 30 minutes. I took it out at 45 minutes - it seemed to pass the toothpick test, but the cake fell in the middle section. It smells great and I hope it tastes as food as to smells. . Any suggestions?
Also--when the directions say to beat the pumpkin, oil, egg, mixture until it is "light n fluffy" ---- that combination never became "fluffy" although it did lighten up. How much time do you beat that combination. An approximate time would help in a recipe-especially when one has never made the recipe before.
I have made the cake several times since the first episode——and it is fantastic. I think I just needed to beat the liquid mixture more on high speed to get the right “fluffiness” . Everyone complements me on this cake. Supermoist, flavorful and the cream cheese icing is refreshingly light and not overwhelming.

I just finished this cake and it came out perfect, super moist and perfectly spiced. The frosting compliments the cake. My husband is on his third piece in 30 minutes. Wish I could eat it like that, lol.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it turned out amazing! Incredibly moist--perfect holiday cake in general
