- 120 mL water ([1/2 cup], add more as needed)
- 220 grams besan (chickpea/gram flour, [480 ml, 2 cups])
- 1 tsp. cardamom powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon powder
- 80 mL coconut oil (melted [1/3 cup])
- 240 mL pumpkin puree (cooked, [260 g, 1 cup] homemade or canned, not pumpkin pie filling)
- 120 mL coconut milk (canned, [1/2 cup] thick and creamy one, if using light coconut milk reduce the amount by 30 ml)
- 150 grams jaggery
- 3/4 cup soft brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond essence
- 60 mL coconut oil (melted [4 tablespoons])
- coconut flakes (optional)
- chopped pistachios (optional)
