- 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved, you can add the halves or slice them very thin and lay them onto the cream cheese – see photographs)
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. confectioner's sugar (optional)

I made this with homemade puff pastry and turned out decent. The bottom of the tarts were wet and that could be from the pastry, so that’s fine, but the filling wasn’t very sweet while I was making it. I ended up tripling the amount of sugar, and I think that the lemon overpowered the other flavors. I would probably make it again, but I’m going to tweak some things about it.
