- 10 lb. standing rib roast (3 to 7 ribs, estimate serving 2-3 people per rib, bones cut away from roast and tied back on with kitchen string, ask your butcher to prepare the roast this way)

- 1/4 cup beef drippings (and fat, from roasting pan)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups water (or milk, stock, or beer, plus 1 additional cup if needed)

fantastic instead of salt and pepper i put garlic powder, onion powder and seasoninh salt on it after browning the prime rib i also mixed my seasons with butter and smeared it all over the meat and insteaf of the 350 i but it on 250 since it was only 3.5 pounds and it was on for about 2 hours then set for 30 mins it cut like butter and tasted amazing you could really taste the seasoning and the meat

Great Prime Rib! I
cooked it in a electric Roasting Pan and it turned out great! So tender!

It was awesome. Finally I can make prime rib that’s not too well done or too under cooked. It was spot on medium rare.p

I added some Cajun spice to the salt and pepper and it gave it a little punch to an already great flavor
