I love this recipe. Easy and delicious. I have made it several times and has always turned out great. I don’t use a ham bone, just diced ham.

This was a great recipe! I didn’t have any celery or a ham bone, but I had about a pound of leftover ham that I cubed. I put the better than bouillon in and then worried it might be too salty because the ham was salty, too, so I rinsed and added 13 additional ounces of dried peas and added approx. three more cups of water. Perfect saltiness then.
