I made this using the ham bone and leftover bits from the Thanksgiving ham at one daughter’s house. Everyone scarfed it down. Even the picky kids. Now I made it with the ham bone and bits from the Christmas ham at another daughter’s home. They thought I did a good job with it every year. This recipe stepped up my game on many levels.

It was very good. I used beef polish sausage instead. I was trying to replicate the souo we get at our local Mexican restaurant. Close but not quite. it was still goos to me though.
