I made this with a 2.5lb roast with a stove top pressure cooker. It does not call for nearly enough liquid. I used a little bit less butter than called for, and I used 3/4c water and 2 beef bullion cubes in place of the bone broth. After an hour I could smell that it was out of water so I turned it off. Not only was it tough from not cooking long enough, none of the bullion or gravy mixes dissolved. I can't vouch for the flavor because it all had a burnt taste to it. Sooo....use more liquid!!

I just made this for dinner tonight. I wasn't so sure about the peppers. Used babana peppers because I didn't realize I was out of pepperoncinis. It was the only change. Let me tell ya, that was by far, hands down, without a doubt, the absolute best roast and gravy I have ever made. The flavor infused by the peppers and juice was incredible. I cannot see myself ever making a roast any other way from now on. Everyone loved it. Thank you for sharing it!! 🤤😍👌
