Description
Tangy fruit preserves – apricots, plums, currants – offer a sophisticated base for a brush-on glaze that will bring out the best in your sausage. You can subsitute any ingredient in this recipe with similar flavors – how about apple cider vinegar instead of balsamic, or cilantro instead of basil? These are great on or off the bun, and would make for a nice summer dinner party.

- 3/4 cup apricot preserves
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. basil (chopped)

Directions
- Heat sausages on the grill to near-completion
- Combine preserves, vinegar, pepper and basil
- Brush preserve glaze on sausages, grill for another minute
- Top each sausage with remaining glaze and additional chopped basil
