This Delious dish is very heathy and very easy to make; you'll definitely be asked for 2nd servings.


  • 6 midium sized potatoes
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 10 slices ham (I used turkey ham)
  • 6 diced cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small bottle creme de fraiche
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • Salt and pepper
  • Rose Marie (dried or fresh)
  • Salted Parmesan cheese to garnish
  • 3 heaped table spoons flour
  • 3 table spoons olive oil
  • 150ml water

    1. First step is to peel the potatoes and put them in boiling salt water till you can easily stick a fork in them.
    2. Meanwhile, chop the onion and garlic and grate the carrots. Add the olive oil (or any other oil you prefer) to a pan then add the vegetables. Add 150ml water and let it steam fry till all the vegetables are softened. (Add more water accordingly.)
    3. Sieve the potatoes from the boiling water when ready and return to pot. Once, you've steamed fried the vegetables and they have soften, add them to the pot of potatoes. (Note, that there may be some liquid from the steam fry, make sure that doesn't slip in when adding the veg to the pot.)

    this recipe was ok .Tasted like a morning casserole. It was pretty easy to make ,but not good enough to make again..😐
