Really good. Will make again and maybe follow they recipe. I added rosemary instead of thyme because I had just cut some fresh from the garden. I loved thyme so I’m sure it’s excellent with thyme. I also used 1 12 ounce can of evaporated milk instead of heavy cream.

Excellent! Made for a sick friend. Velvety smooth and delicate soup. I needed to cook a little more to thicken it up. What a great first course or lunch. Can eat it hot or cold.

The second time I made it, I added Kale and had to use a combo of buttermilk and half n half I also only had one leek, so I cut the recipe in a third. It’s delicious!

Perfect use for leftover potatoes… any kind will do! Didn’t need the cream b/c we used mashed potatoes and the cream was already there!

Served this for Christmas lunch topped with bacon bits, chives, and grated fresh Parmesan…it was a hit! Will make again, for sure…:)

This was good. I added lots of extra winter veggies and some sour cream like others suggested. Blended only half to have something to chew. It still needs a little something else; not sure what yet.

I added some sour cream and cream cheese at the end, and topped with bacon and scallions too. Delicious!!

My family prefers this soup UN-blended and sometimes without the addition of any cream at all.

This soup was just what I expected I was able to use some of the leeks I brought in from the garden I will definitely make it again

Very enjoyable! Smooth and creamy. Maybe slightly different from other potato-leek soups I’ve had, but delicious nonetheless!

I agree with the reviewers who stated that this soup is bland and lacks flavor depth. I think it needs the addition of diced onions with the leeks and garlic, and crispy bacon crumbled on top when served.

Lacked flavor and was very thin. I added more spices and cooked a long time. Not that great

Whole family loved it..... added carrots 🥕, sage and rosemary plus of course thyme..... plus my twist of Caribbean seasoning ...... my meat eating husband said he was mad he loved it so much cause there was no meat in it 🤦🏽♀️...... puréed half so that it was chunky. Very Satisfying 😋

I have never had potato leek soup before, but I decided I wanted to try it. This recipe was very simple and oh so tasty! Will definitely be something I make again.

Wow! This soup recipe is simple yet the flavors are complex and delicious. It delivers a warm filling fall meal in about an hour. You might want to double the recipe for leftovers.
