- 24 green chili peppers (long, thin-skin, I’m using a Chinese long green pepper called “hang-jiao”. Anything suggested above would work nicely, too)
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 head garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. sugar (omit if the soy sauce is already quite sweet)
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine (or sake)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp. rice vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
- 200 grams ground pork
- 1 salted duck egg
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
- 1 tsp. grated ginger
- 2 tsp. corn starch
