- 1 tsp. garlic powder (with parsley)
- 1 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 tsp. granulated sugar
- 3 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 jar sauerkraut (undrained --14 oz.)
- 3/4 cup onion (sliced)
- 1 apple (medium, peeled,cored and sliced-- i use gala)
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup (i used karo brand)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
- 1 tsp. thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 medium potatoes (peeled and cut 1 inch chunks)
- bacon bits (optional)
- parsley flakes (optional)
