- 1 lb. pork tenderloin (or ground pork)
- 1 1/2 cups potatoes (peeled and cut into cubes)
- 1 1/2 cups rutabaga (peeled and cut into cubes)
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 3 medium carrots (peeled and cut into cubes)
- 1 tsp. salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 14 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 14 puff pastry shells (or sheets)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. water

Directions
- Filling: Pulse pork in a food processor 5 times. Add potatoes, rutabaga, chopped onion, carrot, salt, and pepper.
- Pulse 5 times, then scrape sides with spatula. Pulse 4 more times or until mixture is evenly mixed. If using ground pork, pulse all ingredients together.
- Pasties: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
