Everyone liked it, I used a Granny Smith apple and a honey crisp apple. A dash of cinnamon would be good with the apples too. This would be good with a pork roast in the crockpot too.

Good recipe! I added sausage to the mixture because more meat is always better, the maple syrup was a really nice touch. I also had to use Granny Smith apples and it still worked out! Would make again!

This dish was so GOOD..and perfect for Fall! I added an extra apple (my family likes apples) and used a thicker boneless chop. The only complaint I have is that I had some trouble getting the sauce to reduce while not overcooking the apples. In the end, I ended up having to add a little corn starch to thicken it up. My suggestions: Once you add the apples, ACV, and broth... only cook the apples a couple minutes... then take them out while still slightly crunchy and boil the "sauce" on its own to evaporate some of the excess liquid...then add syrup. I did not cut the syrup, but I suppose you could do a 1/2c vs. 3/4c? Let that all boil a bit, reduce heat, and re-add the partially cooked apples and pork to simmer for the stated 20 min. I wouldnt cover while it simmers. Also, its so easy to dry out pork so make sure your only searing the meat initially... 2-3 min on each side at most. It will cook through with the apples later. I served with some seasoned green beans and fresh baked corn bread! Overall, my family loved this..even my picky 6 yr old said it was tasty. This will go into my regular dinner rotation!

The family loved it. Used a thick cut porkchop and diced my apple in larger dices the 2nd time making. Perfect!

I used a thinner pork cut and it did turn out a little tough, but everything tasted great. I'd recommend the 1/2" pork cut like they suggest and just sear the outside of the pork on high heat initially. You'll be simmering it for 20 minutes later anyways.

Just okay. be sure to use as a large a pan as possible when Browning the pork chops. plus use a higher heat than medium. My pork chops didn't Brown to a nice golden color they were mostly steamed and practically fully cooked by the time I pulled them out of the pan. chops were tough and not as tender as I was hoping. plus the apples didn't really carmelize like I thought they would, Maybe three-quarters of a cup of maple syrup is too much? I served it with sweet potato puree that I made in my instant pot and roasted brussel sprouts and it made a good-looking plate.

Excellent! Easy! Love the maple syrup apple mixture! I used only 1/2 cup maple syrup. Mashed potatoes make a great accompaniment. I’ll definitely make this again.

It was perfect. I added some fresh rosemary to the pan while cooking the pork chops and took it out when I took out the chops, it added another dimension. YUMMY

I had cut the maple syrup by half and was still too sweet, Added some Dijon mustard to cut the sweetness
