Description
Was going to make Easy baked Pork Chops one night, but after all the prep work I realized I didn't have any dry onion soup mix, so I came up with this recipe instead. It was a huge hit with my teenage boys. And tbh, it was way better than the original recipe... ;) (I doubled the recipe and used 2 13"x 9" glass pyrex pans)
Ingredients
US|METRIC
4 SERVINGS
- 6 bone-in pork chops (or boneless, or pork steaks)
- seasoning
- 3 onions (thinly sliced)
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 soup (can water)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Place chops or steaks in a 13"x 9" baking dish and sprinkle both sides liberally with the seasoning blend.
- Break onion slices in rings, or leave whole and place on top of chops or steaks.
- In a bowl, whisk together the mushroom soup and water. Pour evenly over the meat and onions. Sprinkle some seasoning blend on top of soup mix for extra flavor. Place pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until the pork is done, and no longer pink in the thickest piece of meat.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice and your favorite sides. The pan juices make an awesome gravy
