- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 cups passata (or tomato puree)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 handful basil (small torn)
- 4 Tbsp. melted butter
- chopped parsley
- sliced provolone
- mozzarella
- cherry pepper (Hot pickled, rings)
- baby kale (or arugula leaves)
- Italian bread (Sesame, cut into 4-5 inch pieces and split, sesame rolls or sandwich rolls, split and lightly toasted)
