This is a basic Pizzelle recipe. You can modify it by adding 4-6 ounces of bottom-shelf Annesette liquor. This helps thin the batter for better crispness. And doubling the amount of anise seeds. Lemon zest is not optional.

It was very good all the ingredients were great! But you don’t have to have the lemon zest

10/10 would make this recipe again. I messed it up a bit, but it still turned out amazing!
