first attempt at macarons. Came out perfect. However, I have never had a macaron before and I didnt know they were such a sweet treat, way too sweet for my liking. Going to try a few more recipes before my final decision as to whether or not I dive into macaron nirvana to serve. this particular recipe did not have almond flour only confec. sugar. will try another recipe with almond flour and see if it cuts the sweetness a little. This is a great treat foe those who truelly have a sweet tooth.
