This is NOT a pound cake. I followed the instructions exactly and the cake cooked over the top of the pan making a mess in the oven. This cake will ruse half again the amount i. the pan and is a large amount of batter. Make sure your pan is large enough or make muffins from remaining batter. Cake is not dense. Its light and fluffy. Not what I expected. Cake us good but not great. i thought with sll the eggs and butter it would be amazing... I am disappointed and will never make this again.

Very easy to make, a definite crowd pleaser and doesn't last long once cooled & cut! :-) I didn't alter the recipe.
