I am familiar with this dish but unfortunately this recipes did not do it justice. The texture was fine and I appreciate this is a healthy recipe but the taste was almost inedible! I like a lot of flavor in my dishes and I am accustom with all the spices used here. I followed the recipe exactly but unfortunately the flavor combination was too potent to eat. Not sure if it was too much cinnamon or cloves or cardamom but the overall flavor was bitter. I would not make this again. I would avoid using this recipe!
