- chicken pieces (we cooked boneless, skinless; choose according to preference)
- pickle brine (Dill, could try horseradish, spicy, or garlic pickles)
- salt (optional)
- pepper (optional)
- honey mustard sauce (Optional for serving:, or Liquid Gold Sauce, recipe follows)
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 light brown sugar (firmly packed tablespoon, 15g)
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (each, and hot sauce , I like sriracha)
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/16 tsp. kosher salt (and freshly ground black pepper)
