This recipe is so tasty and easy throw together. My husband wants to remarry me for perfecting one of his favorite hot sandwiches. and he has never been to Philadelphia so Im safe until he gets on in PHILLY. SO GOOD IT IS A MARRIAGE SAVER. LOL EASY, DELISH, PERFECT 4 A HOT LUNCH CHANGE FROM SANDWICHES!

Really good! My guy can’t digest bell peppers so I cut them in quarters -for the flavor - & pick them out before the cheese

It’s was good. I probably will use a creamier cheese next time, the provolone was too stringy.

I doubled the ketchup, and worcestershire. I sautéed minced garlic before adding the green pepper, mushrooms, and yellow onion. I added some cayenne pepper and 3 crushed beef bullion cubes into the whole mixture before the cheese. It turned out good, but I think 3 cubes is overkill, probably 1 might be better. I think 3 tbsp ketchup instead of 4 next time.

This recipe looked promising but lacked flavor. I stayed pretty true to the recipe so I would be able to give an honest review. If I were to make changes I would have cut the cheese down by at least half, omitted the beef broth, and added probably twice as much ketchup, worchershire sauce, and black pepper. I'm still not sure what else could have been added to fix it but it was quite bland so it needed something.

My husband didn’t care for these, I thought they were good. They tasted more savory than the traditionally sweet Sloppy Joes.

This recipe was super good, definitely felt there was something missing in the seasoning but definitely worth making! Instructions are a little vague in some spots!

This was wonderful! I had to leave out the green pepper because I didn’t have one but my kids both wanted seconds and begged me to make it again!

I skipped the cornstarch and beef broth, I felt it was unnecessary but the meal was delicious otherwise! Maybe more pepper or something I’m not sure but it was really good

Hubs and I really enjoyed this. We like everything with a spicy kick so I subbed jalapeno for the green pepper and added red pepper flakes. For the broth I used "Better than Bullion" beef and also garlic. Using a really quality ground beef was key to giving it a great steak-y texture and it was amazing how the bullion and the Worcestershire made it so beefy. I broiled the cheese on top of our open face sandwiches just before serving. Definitely will make again. Easy 1 dish meal.
