No matter if it’s your first time or 100th time cooking a steak, any level chef can pull of this simple recipe. Basic ingredients found in every kitchen, with the option to take it even further with the addition of a few other ingredients. Really appreciated how thorough each step was, the additional notes explaining the reason for the type of oil and/or pan size, etc gave me a better understanding not only with this recipe, but with cooking in general.

Indeed a perfect recipe! Simple and quick. I don’t have cast iron, but the frying pan option worked very wel too. My friends and I loved it!

Excellent recipe! The heat and timing were absolutely perfect! The taste itself was not very powerful but in a good way. Our steaks were perfectly tender and medium rare.

Great recipe with easy instructions. I will use less black pepper next time though.
