    This recipe really helped me get a nice queso, but it needs additional ingredients for a little kick.

    First Time I made it, I used Queso Fresco Crumbling Cheese, turned out gritty and watery not good at all. I went back to the store and got Queso blanco melting cheese even though the recipe called for queso fresco. The second time was delicious. I haven't been able to find jalapeno White Cheddar, so I have been using pepper jack.

    The flavor of the queso was good. Suggestions would be to add sauteed peppers, onions and tomatoes to the dish. I think that would be an improvement.

    Not sure what the other reviewer did to muck it up but this tastes much more authentic than process cheese product and can tomatoes melted together any day. Delicious, will definitely keep in the appetizer rotation! Thanks!

    Was nasty. looked gritty and tasted watery. will NOT be making this again. I will atick with Velveeta and Rotel.
