Description
Take the hot cocoa bomb trend to the next level by adding your own freshly made espresso! Here, we combine a homemade hot cocoa mix with peppermint and semi-sweet chocolate for a festive, cold-weather treat. Uses the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine.
Ingredients

- 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. powdered milk
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/8 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp. peppermint candies (finely crushed, optional)

Directions
- In a small bowl, mix cocoa powder, powdered sugar, powdered milk and pinch of salt to make the hot cocoa mix.
- Gently melt semi-sweet chocolate chips over a double boiler. Brush melted chocolate onto 2-inch round silicone molds. This will make 12 half-shells. Freeze for 5 minutes. Then re-brush with melted chocolate to make sure there are no holes or gaps in the shells. Freeze again for 5 minutes.
- Gently pop hardened shells out of molds. Fill the bottom halves with 1 tablespoon of the hot cocoa mix and 5-6 mini marshmallows.
