Made these for the holidays and they turned out really well! I did half with the candy cane kisses and 1/2 with peppermint Andes mints. Both went well with the chocolate cookie!

I cut down 1/4 cup on the sugar because I thought OMG two cups of sugar!! But these probably could handle the full two cups and not be overly sweet. These are really wonderful Christmas cookies! I live in a high elevation so I had to bake them longer. Definitely a keeper!
