Ingredients

- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 cups grape tomatoes
- 3 cups penne pasta
- 3 cups broth
- 3/4 cup dry white wine (Chardonnay, *optional)
- 1/2 tsp. salt (each, and ground pepper)
- 1 1/4 cups fresh basil (lightly packed)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (*optional)

Directions
- spray a glass, microwavable container with olive oil so the bottom is coated. slice garlic into container and add tomatoes. Cover and put in microwave on HIGH for about 4-5 minutes, or until tomatoes are bursting. Crush tomatoes. Add pasta, broth, wine*, salt and black pepper.
- Return your container to the microwave, cover and heat on HIGH for 16-18 minutes, or until pasta is tender, stir after 10 minutes. Meanwhile coarsly chop basil. Reserve some (about 2 tsp.) for garnish.
- Remove container from microwave and remove lid, lifting away from you. Add remaining basil and *cheese.
- Serve and enjoy! Yeilds about 8 servings. 1 cup=1 serving
