1st time making Pasta e Fagioli and it lacked the flavor I was expecting. I tried adding more Italian seasoning and sprinkled in a couple spices including a little cayenne which helped. Going to make Giada’s version next time to understand what it should taste like.

Absolutely amazing!!! I will definitely make this again and will add it to the menu for larger family get togethers!

It went very well! Subbed ground turkey for beef and beef broth for chicken broth. If you think about it for a sec, I remained true to this recipe's flavor profile. The only real mod made was... cook the pasta 3/4 done outside of the soup. Drain and rinse the excess starch. Retain 1/2 cup of the pasta water and dump it in the soup to thicken it slightly.

Turned out perfectly the second time I made it. It definitely needs more chicken broth than the recipe says. I added two cups. Makes great leftovers.

I don’t use pasta because we love lots of broth but this recipe is so good! Top with parmesan cheese and add some warm bread and it’s a winner!

My family LOVED it. Wasn’t enough broth though so I do recommend adding more. My daughter who never eats seconds gobbled an entire second bowl and begged for me to make it again.

I didn’t have celery and had to use baked beans (I strained them beforehand) and it didn’t matter. It was delicious. I added a tbsp of tomato paste to thicken up the stew a bit, and enjoyed it with buttered bread. I’ll be making this again for sure!

Pasta e fagioli has always been a personal favorite. So, I wanted to try making it in my Instant Pot. I used beef broth instead of chicken though. The whole family raved about it. When the meal was done, less than a bowl remained for "leftovers". This is my new "standby" meal. It is filling, nutritious, super easy to make, uses inexpensive ingredients and tastes amazing.
