- 5 turkey Italian sausage (links, hot or mild, but I like hot)
- 3 cups penne (dry Dreamfield's, about 2/3 box)
- 1 can sliced black olives
- 12 oz. roasted red bell peppers
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (coarsely, plus more for adding at the table)
- 1 cup italian vinaigrette (bottled, I like Newman's Own Olive Oil and Vinegar salad dressing, or use your favorite dressing without added sugar)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped, Or use frozen basil)
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil
