My family loves this recipe! I drained the beans and used about 1/4 of an onion rather than a whole onion but those are the only alterations I've made. I have made this recipe a few times already and will make it again!

Absolutely delicious! I added to the recipe by combining a few ideas from other recipes. 1/8 cup white wine, 2oz pancetta, chicken stock vs vege, a third can of beans, a bay leaf, a teaspoon of oregano, and parsley for garnishing. Also, I’d recommend keeping pasta separate until serving, as I like it more al dente.
