- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (more if you like is spicy, less if you like it more mild)
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil

- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 2 tsp. minced garlic (fresh)
- 1/4 cup olive oil (1/4 - 1/3 Cup)
- 2 Tbsp. pinenuts (2-3 tablespoons)

It was very tasty but made a few modifications. As another review indicated cook zucchini noodles
less than 5 min or they have too much water released so I cooked for one and half min still a fair bit of water. Added lemon juice and salt and Parmesan cheese to pesto.

Excellent, however added too much chile flakes and too hot!! Put more then what recipe called me. Also added more tomatoes.

Quite tasty. Can be even faster and more convenient if you make pesto beforehand and store in the fridge or freezer. Took away a star because cooking the zucchini for 5 mins causes it to release a bunch of water and turn into a soggy mess. If you prefer the zucchini noodles to keep a but if their crunch and their shape, just heat through for 1-2 minutes max.

Excellent and easy recipe even for a rookie in the kitchen, will def redo it. Good alternative to pasta. All family loved it.
