- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (– I only use Duke’s!)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (– you can swap sour cream for this if you like)
- 1 oz. fresh basil leaves (weighed, finely chopped – I got one of those AeroGarden’s and have SO MUCH BASIL – this recipe was perfect timing!)
- 2 Tbsp. shallot (minced – you could sub out with onion as well)
- 2 Tbsp. basil pesto (– I used a jarred pesto or make your own)
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar (– white vinegar or apple cider vinegar work as well)
- 1 Tbsp. agave syrup (– easy swap for this is honey)
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard (– don’t swap this – it’s essential!)
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice (– bottled or fresh)
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder (– you could swap out garlic powder if you were out of onion powder)
- 1 pinch kosher salt (& coarse black pepper)
