Loved this soup! I used wild rice and white rice cooked, added a little more pepper to taste, and some salt. Used a half of a roasted chicken from the grocery store deli, and added some diced portobello mushrooms! Perfect!

It is pretty darn close to Panera’s soup. I used a couple peoples tips. I cooked my chicken breast’s in the Dutch oven I was using with a homemade chicken seasoning blend I have to kick it up a notch. Also I added an extra box of rice but not the seasoning packet and added extra cup of chicken broth so it wasn’t to thick. Turned out well. I do think it needs a bit of salt just my personal preference. All in all good and easy.

This tastes yummly! However, if you decide to add more rice a roni like someone suggested bcs you like your soup ricey, beware that it will make it like glop not soup. I had to add tons more of water to thin it out so we could enjoy it as a soup and not a paste. lol. It is a bit heavy, so next time I will not add more rice and will use milk and not cream.

It was amazing I have a big family and I had to double the recipe they loved it I loved it. I actually work at panera and this taste better than the one we served.

We made this soup using rotisserie store bought & prepared chicken. Super flavorful and delicious! A hit with the entire fam, including super picky kiddos. Yum!

I liked the soup, but the chicken was super bland. Next time I'm going to add some spices to the chicken and cook it on the skillet in oil first (rather than just boiling it). Then I'll chop it up and add it to the soup. I also plan to add some more spices to the soup as one seasoning packet from a Rice-a-Roni didn't really cut it for us.

used whole milk, mixed the seasoning packets in the broth with chicken, hearty soup- a little salty added some water to reheat

Excellent recipe! Better than Panera’s! Used two boxes of Rice A Roni Long Grain Wild Rice. Added extra cup of broth to cut the roux making less pasty.
I will definitely make this again using whole milk versus half & half.
