These cookies were surprisingly easy to make and tasted fabulous. The Almond flavor tended to dominate over the lemon flavor—but it’s still there, and the combination is excellent. The poppyseeds really give a great crunch and texture to these cookies. The amounts in this recipe yield a small batch (which is great for a nice treat)—12 cookies. If you need a larger batch I would suggest doubling the recipe. Also, I made them without the sugar glaze and they were perfectly fine without.
