  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 6 cloves garlic (freshly diced)
  • 2 cups mushrooms (sliced)
  • 10 fresh basil leaves (diced)
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce (homemade or canned. Choose a sauce that has some flavorful ingredients, capers, mushrooms, garlic, etc., as it adds to the overall flavor of the dish. We really enjoy a jar we found at Trader Joe's. It's called Trader Giotto's Puttanesca.)
