- 1 lb. yukon gold potatoes (unpeeled, cut into medium dice)
- 1/4 cup white vermouth
- 8 oz. clam juice (see note)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 lb. meat (cleaned razor clam, cut into small dice)
- 2 tsp. fish sauce (such as Red Boat brand, optional)

Honestly, it was horribly bland. It did work as a wonderful base though - I added salt, white pepper, dry mustard, tarragon & dill, a little lemon pepper, zucchini & corn. Seemed to give it a little more dimension...
