Recipe is confusing you have 2 cups warm water on list plis 1/2 cups cold water, plus 1/2 boiling water that’s 4 cups water in ingredients.
I made that mistake the first time of all 4 cups water total and it was like porridge, not a ball of dough
Then I think I realized after that you are saying that is how you get warm water, by mixing some boiling water in the 1 1/2 cup to make it warm?
I think you should correct your ingredient list or at least state that method of warm water making
