- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (can substitute with coconut sugar)
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
- 16 oz. French bread (or sourdough bread day old bread works best; cut into 1-inch cubes with the ends discarded, 1 loaf)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened optional - leave out if preferred)
- 2/3 cup maple syrup (or honey divided)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar (can substitute with coconut sugar)
- 2 cups blueberries (divided; fresh or frozen)
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk (I used almond milk)
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 cup blueberries fresh (or frozen)
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- water (as needed to thin out sauce to desired consistency)
