Excellent recipe, read comments before making regarding the coating not sticking well so I dipped the chicken in egg first and it worked well

OMG this chicken drumstick recipe came out so delicious! Will definitely make it again. This recipe is a keeper.

This came out great! I used 2/3 cup flour, was generous with Cajun spices, 21 salute from Trader Joe’s, and with smoked paprika. I used skin on chicken thighs and left the temp at 450 since 475 seemed too high. One pan used melted butter and the other used avocado oil and I think I like the way the butter pan came out better! The chicken came out so crispy and my husband ate more than usual. I’m saving this recipe as it doesn’t make a mess and came out great!

So I spiced up this recipe. Instead of paprika we used hari milich (Indian red chili powder) instead of melted butter we layered the foil with olive oil.
Served with a proper raita, basmati rice and some sweet chutney. It was great!

Very rarely do I have fried foods and more so, fried chicken. But I do love it. This version is gonna be my to for those moments I feel for a little fried chicken or when I’m cooking for my nieces and nephews. I’m West Indian, so I used a bit more dry seasoning (peri-peri, sazón, orange-ginger blend, garlic herb blend) and let it marinade for a couple of hours. I also added panko to the flour for the coating. I LOVE IT! Made it twice. First with drumsticks; then with boneless thighs! Yum!

Amazing! We didn’t have curry seasoning so I added cayenne instead. Added some spice but not overpowering. Overall my new favorite chicken recipe! Watch out with the butter. It started burning a bit in the oven making my kitchen fill up with smoke.

it turned out really good except the breading was not as crunchy as what i wanted. probably something i did wrong. but i didnt have poultry seasoning so I use buffalo seasoning. i also used garlic powder.

Our family loved this. Juicy & tender on the inside nice a crispy on the outside !
