I added jalapeno and subbed out some of the green onion for yellow onion. I also reduced the cooking time from 45 whopping minutes to 21 and the meal was still incredibly overcooked. The flavor profile, especially with like 1T of diced jalapeno is right on point though and this recipe is of course very easy. Even with being overcooked, when served with fresh sliced and sugared strawberries, I got great reviews. I just can't overlook the dryness this first time. You'll definitely have to just monitor it and take it out when you think it's done. Probably start checking after 15 minutes.
