- 1 teas (lipton)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp. orange
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup walnuts
- 2/3 cup dried fruit (cherries, raisins, cranberries, blueberries, etc)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease baking sheet; set aside. In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside. In small bowl, with wire whisk, beat eggs, egg yolk, orange peel and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. With electric mixer, mix to form a dough. Stir in walnuts and dried fruit. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface, then knead gently. Divide in half. On prepared baking sheet, with floured hands, shape each dough half into a 12-inch-long by 2-inch-wide almost flat log. Bake 30 minutes. On wire rack, cool 10 minutes. On cutting board, cut each log into 1/2-inch-thick diagonal slices. On baking sheet arrange cookies, cut side down and bake, turning once, an additional 6 minutes or until golden. On wire rack, cool completely.
