Description
Mhalbi is a creamy rice pudding typically served around the time of Ramadan in North Africa. This orange flower rice pudding is made with rice powder, whole milk, and sugar for a sweet creamy pudding. Lightly flavored with orange flower water, this pudding has a lilting citrus flavor. Best made the day before so that it can chill in the refrigerator overnight before serving. A gluten free dessert option for those with sensitivities or allergies.

- 100 grams rice powder (or rice flour)
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 Tbsp. orange flower water
- cinnamon (for garnish, optional)

Directions
- In a saucepan, add in the milk, rice powder, sugar, and orange flower water. Mix well.
- Heat on low, constantly stirring until it thickens.
- Let cool and refrigerate overnight.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
