- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 14.5 oz. petite diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. italian seasoning (perfect pinch)
- 8 no boil lasagna noodles
- 15 oz. ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)

Directions
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 5 minutes until softened. Add ground beef; cook and stir until browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water and Seasoning; cook 5 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat. Transfer meat sauce to a large bowl.
- Spread 1 1/2 cups of the sauce in bottom of skillet. Place 4 of the lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spoon 1 cup of the remaining sauce evenly over noodles. Dollop half of the ricotta cheese evenly over the sauce and top with 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella. Layer with remaining noodles and spread 1 cup of the remaining sauce over top. Top with remaining ricotta and finally any remaining sauce. Cover.
- Cook on low heat 15 minutes or until noodles are tender. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Cover. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
