- 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes (Hunt's)
- 15 oz. tomato sauce (Hunt's)
- 2 small red beans (15 0z cans, or kidney beans, drained and rinsed)
- 15 oz. black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups pasta ( uncooked macaroni , we use whole wheat)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions (for garnish, if desired, optional)

Replaced black beans with corn and left out red pepper and tomato sauce because I did not have. My family loved the dish and I love that I did not have to dirty another pot. My husband said hearty dish.
