- 2 Tbsp. dried shrimps (or Smoked)

- 2 tsp. spice blend (AVK 10, alternatively use a 1 tsp combination of thyme, Star Arnise, Aniseed, nkitinkiti, Rosemary & Cloves)
- 1 tsp. spice blend (AVK 7, alternatively, use 1 wide3 Aba & 2 hwentia pods)
- 3 white onions (Medium)
- 60 grams fresh ginger (about the thumb size)
- 1 Scotch Bonnet pepper (Small, or to your taste)
- 4 tomatoes on the vine (Fresh, Medium sizes)
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 500 grams groundnut (Paste, not the spread)
- water (– about 3 litres)
