Made a few mods, used frozen small mixed veggies, and canned chicken since I had these and wanted to use it. added a red bell pepper, added a bit of basil pesto and cooked this in chicken broth as I had preboiled penne so could not follow the entire direction as is. When veggie/chicken done, I just spooned that, slightly runny consistency, over the pasta and turned over a few times to mix. Over this, added mozzarella and Parmesan and put it in oven in 325 for 10 mins. Delicious! Kids and dad loved it.

turned out well. added my own seasoning. this is a very forgiving dish and also versatile- add whatever veggies you have on hand
