- soy sauce (I use low sodium)
- brown sugar
- hoisin sauce
- corn starch

- 1 lb. beef (sirloin or flank steak, sliced thin)
- 12 oz. fresh broccoli florets (cut into bitesize pieces)
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/4 cup sweet onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (I use low sodium)
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp. corn starch
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper
