Tried this tonight for the first time and my kids devoured it! Not the healthiest meal but was yummy I used Pearl couscous instead of orzo; Adobe instead of seasoned salt, doubled the sundried tomatoes and added a splash of wine and then added baby spinach at the end. ill def make it again and next time will have good crusty bread on hand to soak up the sauce

Wonderful! I used skinless boneless chicken thighs and it worked out great. I also added spinach at the very end.

Very tasty!
Definitely will make it again.. The sundried tomatoes really make it. I used plenty.

The orzo was very delicious! Chicken was okay it was a little hard to cook through uncovered. Maybe my thighs were possibly on the larger size which didn’t help. I would def make the orzo again for a side dish! I did increase the pepper to 3/4 tsp. Perfect

Absolutely delicious and easy to make. This is in frequent rotation in our home!

I added pesto instead of sun dried tomatoes. My husband loves it. It’s creamy and delicious.

I always make a recipe as written the first time. This was good and filling! Next time I will use something lighter than cream as I felt the dish was too heavy. It had nice flavors though and I will make it again but will add some spinach and maybe a little lemon next time.

This was good. It took awhile to cook the chicken thighs. The next time I will use chicken breast and add more orzo. The sauce also dried up so I may double the sauce.

I switched out to orzo to farro and cooked it ahead of time. I also cut down on the Parmesan cheese. It’s was yummy. Will make again.

Really nice dish. I would definitely recommend putting it in the oven to cook when you add the chicken back in. We found that the hob was just burning the orzo and the chicken not cooking quick enough. Overall a really nice tasty dish. Will make again!

This was delicious. I too will add more orzo next time and add in some spinach. I put fresh green beans on top at the end and they were delicious. We like our green beans al dente.

Family enjoyed. Hearty meal. Didn’t have sundries tomatoes so roasted cherry Toms. Used half and half because it was what I had. Doubled orzo and liquid. Next time might just use chicken breasts for ease.

Very easy and delicious. I agree that 1 cup orzo would be small amount for 6 adults. Great recipe as written. Have also made with left over rotisserie chicken, half heavy cream and half milk, and added spinach with great results. Easy to add in your preferences

My family loved this dish even our picky kids. It was comfort food at its best. The orzo was a change from regular pasta and we loved the creamy flavorful sauce. As we say at our house “It’s a keeper” Marcia in Sherman Texas

It ended up being really tasty, but my chicken definitely took longer than ten minutes, and putting it back in the sauce makes the skin saugy. Next time I’ll sear the chicken then finish baking them in the oven will the orzo cooks.

This was a dud. Too tangy (from sundried tomatoes?), yet also bland. Made exactly to recipe. No one liked it.

loved this dish! the flavors were awesome....however i cannot eat chicken thighs without trimming them...it just grosses me out to thonk about eating all that fat...so i used bonless chickeb thighs with no skin...it was still an awesome recipe...

We made the mistake of using too much seasoned salt, which ruined it. Yet, we could tell even through the salt overload that this was a delicious dish and are planning to make again. Note, go EASY on the seasoned salt!

This was really good. I squeezed a lemon over the dish before adding the basil because it needed acid. Other than that, the recipe was perfect

Didn’t have sun dried tomatoes. Used sun dried tomato paste and can of diced tomatoes (drained) instead. Was fabulous!

It was delicious. I lived the flavors. The only alteration I made was to add 1/2 cup more rice and use chicken breast instead of thighs as this was what was available in my area.
