- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)

- 1 Tbsp. dried basil (or 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves but add it at the end)
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 cups water
- 12 oz. ziti (or similar pasta)
- 1/2 cup half and half (or heavy cream)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly)
- ground black pepper
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)

It turned out amazing, but I skipped the water and noodles part and cooked them separately. Then I combined the sauce with the noodles in a baking dish and put mozzarella on top and baked until the cheese melted.

This turned out great. It was easy to make and I love that it could all be made with just one cast iron skillet.

Awesome! The whole family loves it. I leave out the sausage for my vegetarian daughter.
